Art Camp Amar is a private all girl

½ wooded acres Art Camp Amar is on

Programs are individually designed to meet
the needs and desires of each camper.
Our Camp is non-competitive. Our mature and professional staff teaches the fundamentals of tactile and visual art, while concentrating on the individuals' passion. Campers from around the world come to immerse themselves in art, form lifelong friendships and to gaze at Lake Ontario from their private deck. Every day brings another opportunity for creativity, exploration and FUN! Art Camp Amar exceeds all notions of traditional summer camps. We create art, develop friendships, and build self-esteem in an idyllic environment conducive to observation and pondering. Director and Teacher Georgia Amar shares her vision of a learning environment where individual attention and guidance help unlock the imagination of the young mind that is safe and invigorating. Her dedication to each camper’s artistic enrichment and personal growth is evident in every detail. In 1975 Georgia purchased the amazing property overlooking Lake Ontario. Her career as a working Contemporary artist had begun. Starting small, Georgia studied the landscape around the Lake and built an A-Frame Cabin.
